Due to problems with spammers, our forums are set up so your account must be approved manually. We also have a brief question-and-answer session to verify that you are in fact a human being and not an automated spambot. Once you register, your account will be approved within 24 hours and an email will be sent to the account you used to register.

If you sign up with an account using a free email services (such as Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) please include your location in your profile so we know that you are in fact a real, live person and not a spambot.

The HCA: Hermit Crab Association does not allow members to have more than one account, so please do not attempt to sign up multiple times using multiple email addresses. It will not expedite your approval process if you do so.

The HCA: Hermit Crab Association administrators do not mass-approve accounts. Each account is carefully reviewed for authenticity before approval is granted. The HCA: Hermit Crab Association will not approve accounts associated with online pharmacies, pornography, sexual enhancement or any other spammish items. Such accounts are removed from the site permanently and never get a chance to post offensive material.
