To be extremely honest, I upon dismantling my tank, I found a fake plant that had rust on it, I had that plant in there for well over two years, and no abnormal deaths occurred in my tank at all, rust is just naturally occurring

The closer the limb was lost to the actual molt, the less likely it will be to grow back, because usually a gel like limb forms beforehand, then a molt happens, then the limb is grown back

people have tried live plants in the past, but found that it was very messy, if you found a hermit safe plant and anchored it down good, I don;t see why you couldn't try

I believe there was another post about this exact stuff and it is safe. Tammy from the crabbage patch even sells it. I believe yucca is okay because someone on here had a branch of it in their crabitat, Josh Nerf if I remember correctly.
