Hmm, I'll have to check that out. I always put a little food in because I don't know if they're molting or not and really don't want to disturb them.

Does she have points at the end of her legs? the little black points? if they're pointy, that's another sign.

My grandma bought me crabs for my birthday and I'm kind of worried about them, so I isolated them away from the others because if they are sick, I don't want them to mess up my main colony. They're both PP's and a little bigger then a quarter, they both have all six legs/claws. They are now undergro...

number 6, don't feed them commercial food ever. You need protein, veggies, fruit, etc.

That's great, all of my crabs are always around the heater.

She is in with all of the other crabs, they have all created a big tunnel through the bottom of the tank, So I couldn't tell you we're she is it, or any of them.. I always worry about someone dying... I have so much paranoia about it.. But I won't dig right now... out of all of my 16 crabs only five...

That's always a great feeling, I love it when my hermit crabs change out of those bad shells! If only there was a way that you could remove the paint for good! Even though some places claim that they're pain is non-toxic and it's like can I please see the results for that? But yay crabbie!

Probably because they have molted, you do not want your hermit crabs to lose legs!! Also they will molt when the time and conditons are right. So don't stress about it.

Allison has been down for over two weeks at least now. I know my crabs dig tunnels, I'm just worried about her being dead, would I still smell her even though I have so much subtsrace? could that block the smell of a dead crab. Or is she molting because I got her and she needed a good molt. Any advi...

I have a lethargic crab and I'm stressing out about it, he has molted with me before. But now he won't dig and just sits their for hours. Help?
