Power Out - Advice

So. I wasn't worried to much the first day. I insulated and we were fine. Now any residue heat is gone. And the temp in the house is about 72. With a degree warmer in the tank. We were informed it might be as little as 3 days or as much as 5 days depending to get power back. Is there anything I shou...

Re: Emergency help

Also the one that is not in a shell needs to be reshelled or he can dry out and die if he hasnt already. If he is too weak to hold on to a shell and reshell him yourself. As it has been two weeks send he has come out of his shell I wonder if he is still alive.

Re: What are some recommendations?

As for moss. Most fake moss is treated with stuff that is not safe for Crabs. Its meant to be decorative and not meant to be wet. If You cannot due real moss consider something else.

Re: New crabs

What type of lid do you have. If it is mesh, putting a towel over it, along with saran wrap can help with both heat and humidity particularly if the towel is damp. That is a cheap easy way to fix a mesh lid. Others use plexi-glass on their mesh lids as well. Just be careful if you have heat lamps an...

I hope your plants establish well too. I am another that likes to leave open floor space as well so they have room to move around, and dig down accordingly.
