Should I get crabs?

Sounds like you’ve got a great start. I think with a 10gal tank, two crabs would be best. It is recommended 5gal/crab for small crabs and they will grow. Keep reading through the site and you will do ok and ask questions, getting answers and opinions from everyone is best to see what works best for ...

Re: Molting E in Bacterial Bloom & Lost Limbs

I hope maybe he was just that comfortable to come out of his shell in the water. I know that’s not what they do but maybe with Eddie’s situation it would be different. Hopefully getting him set up how he was will make him comfortable again. He’s got to be uncomfortable and with a molt coming on, it ...

Re: How many foods are enough? Or too much?

I love your question bc I do the same thing. I hope a lot of people respond to this to get an idea what everyone else does. I like to offer a lot to make sure they get what they want and need.

Re: Molting E in Bacterial Bloom & Lost Limbs

I think it would be good to keep him in a hole, covered with a hide just incase he wants to go, he can. Maybe bring him out for his feedings until he starts refusing. I really don’t know bc I put Rod in iso and she shed her exo a few days later. I know wodesorel’s advice is the best but I just wante...

Re: New crab dropped all limbs

Thank you. Its really sad I only had such a short time with him. It just really surprising, he was so active, so outgoing, and super friendly. It’s so heartbreaking how they go down hill so fast, I wish there was more we could do for them.

Molting E in Bacterial Bloom & Lost Limbs

So cool! It probably feels good to him, to be able to move on his own. I wondered if that was the other end of that blue scoop/spoon! I have one too, I think it’s from Hermie’s Kitchen. Lol! I love seeing Eddie’s pictures and videos. He really likes to stretch out in his baths! I’m so glad he is doi...

Crab on the run

In wonder if when he hit the bubbler tubing, it scared him? That was quite the run!

Edit: I take that back bc he was starting to run before that.

Is anyone else hearing “band on the run” Lol!
