Re: Updated Pictures Of My Three Crabitats ~ Picture Heavy

Thank you! This is kind of an old thread. I change their crabitats regularly. [emoji4] I just never move the locations of their pools. Edit: Wow, I just looked~ it was from over a year ago! I’ll look to see if I have more recent pics, and then I’ll take pics in the next couple of days [emoji4] Sent...

Re: CRAB ID

They are so adorable. Congrats on your new little buddies. I would love to have an E but they are so hard to find where I live.

Re: Finally jumped on the exercise wheel bandwagon..

I have 2 crabs that don’t stay off the wheel since they found it. I always think that they think they are walking somewhere far away since they keep going for hours when they’re on it....[emoji23]

Re: White mold over buried (molting?) new crab

I have 3 "360 Home Security Camera Wireless Surveillance" and am real happy with them. I find they are easier to maneuver than the WyzeCam. Do you have them inside or outside of the tank? I bought one and tried it outside the tank but the light reflected off of the glass and it was hard to see so I...

Re: White mold over buried (molting?) new crab

Many of us use that kind of container for water dishes. Plastic canvas/ craft mesh attached to the sides is a common method of providing a way to climb out. I am going to order a Wyze Cam next time I go to the US and stay where I can get it shipped for a good price! I’ve been researching the Wyze C...

Re: White mold over buried (molting?) new crab

I have to say I'm kind of amazed at how well he can cover the hole(s) that he created when he goes under. If it hadn't been for the food being moved out of the dish and the water dish being empty (and the mold being "gone" due to the sand being turned over), I never would have known he was even up ...

Thank you. I will try that.

Re: Picky crabs

We have over 300 foods at least. Calciums, worms, bugs, nuts, seeds, grains, flowers, proteins, seafoods, sea plants, leaf litters, etc. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk Holy crap...and I thought I had a lot of food. Do you put the carrots in the tank whole or do you cut them up? I saw some kind...

Re: Heat/humidity issues

You can also cover the entire screen top with the plastic wrap. I used to have a 10 gallon with a screen and only had a portion of it covered. I too was having trouble with the humidity and someone recommended that I cover the entire thing. It worked. You can also mist the tank with the dechlorinate...

Picky crabs

I’m starting to get a little concerned about the eating habits of my crabs (I have 5 PP). They don’t seem to eat anything I give them, except popcorn. And then they only ate a little bit. I literally have 40 different kinds of organic foods for them that I’ve bought off of the different recommended ...

Re: Changing substrate

I totally wrote my comment wrong. I don’t know what I was thinking. I meant to say that I don’t think you have to change the substrate. I read that some people have had the same substrate for as long as they have had their crabs. As it settles, you slowly add more to it. I did watch a video on YouTu...
