Re: Single crab owner- want friends. Help?
Depends on crab to crab... Some will just 'click' together; becoming each other's piece to the puzzle. Other times... not so much. :/ It's a risk. (Sorry it's not that much help; but each crab has a different personality) So if you do want to get some buddies see how they react; and make sure you ha...

Re: New owners: crabitat questions
Hey; if it is reading at 60 then your 15 under. So if you where to check on the tank and it's saying 65F (for example) add 15F; which you would get around 80F. If you're familiar with math go along with (for all mathematical people): y = x + 15 y - your answer x - the gauge's reading (Hopefully I ha...

Re: Long Overdue Pictures
Darwin initially checked out the other aussies when they came up from their molts but hasn't shown much interest since then. As always, she's a very busy bee and spends her time climbing, exploring, basking, and eating like a pig. Hmm; this sounds like my usual aussie behaviour... Wonder if it is a...

I believe that in Dubai they are kept as pets; and I do recall reading about a person from the middle east keeping them - he wrote about it in his blog.
They sound rather amazing; don't they?

Re: Large saltwater pool tips? And background
Wow, it's looking good... I see that we are totally on the same wavelength, I've always thought if I was to do 2.0 on the pools i would do a back up chamber just in case! ;) Just to point out - I am sure you know already - that acrylic doesn't have the best "bonding" performance with silicone; the b...
