Looks interesting... I wonder how good the crabs are are removing the leaves from the holes? Do you drill all the way through and insert the leaves or do you just drill in partially? For the longest time I've wanted to have plastic plants in the crabitat without the stems. My crabs keep grabbing a stem and knocking a plant upside down. (I don't like suction cups.) A couple days ago I came up with the idea of drilling holes into the cork logs and inserting the leaves in the hole....

It is safe, however it is much more cost effective to mix your own substrate with playsand and eco earth.
