I mix a pitcher of water whenever I need one, and then use the leftover on my houseplants and dogs.

What size heating pad do i need?
I'm looking for advice on heating pads.
I have a 26G bowfront tank which I need to heat up. The incandescent light keeps it at 76F, but I want to get at least part of the tank into the upper 80s.
How big of a pad do i need?

I just rinse them and then microwave them in a cup fo water. It gets hot enough to kill the microbes.

Do you mean the ones that open in the front?
Yes, a few people here use them. They're expensive, though.

So LHC is a dead end.
Is there any place left to get ruggies or other exotics?
I can't even get E's in my local pet stores any more.
