what do you recommend re: using a uv with a mesh lid? i have plastic over half the lid for the humidity so i just plunked the clamp lamp with the uv bulb over the plastic since it doesn't get hot at all. but reading this thread again i'm second guessing this. it's fairly thick plastic so it might be...

Ok so I have a couple observations that I am sure you are all interested in; They still try to escape & are constantly climbing the silicone & walking the perimeter. I got an order of yummy treats in the mail yesterday so they have dried hibiscus petals and dandelion leaves to try.
