They can be food. Leave them in, grind them, whatever. They are calcium and therefore edible.

Bubblers really make a difference. I saw an increased level of activity when I added bubblers last year: all of the crabs had to go over to investigate! Initially, only one of the crabs happily went all the way into the pools -- the others sat on the mesh ramps and dipped their legs -- but it didn'...

My jumbos don't get involved in tank politics. Lol if they did, the others wouldn't stand a chance.

I will post pics as soon as I can get some. She is fast! I put her in the tank in the shell shop (hasn't had shells in 3 years) turned to say something to the previous owners and when I looked back she was gone. Completely vanished. She is on the smaller end of small sized and so cute in her little ...

I think they are differenciating between glass and plastic when it comes to tanks like kritter keepers vs a regular tank made of glass or acrylic.
