About a year ago I had some motivation problems and sometimes went on 5-6 days without feeding or replacing water. Not to get too deep, but I wonder if I can justify that as being a mental issue. May a mod correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's too cold. I think it needs to be at least 75 or else crabs will go into a sluggish state. And sometimes if conditions are wrong crabs will dig to destress

Do you have bubblers? My bubblers cause a lot of moisture in the sand, but it evens out because of the airflow in the tank.

I've been thinking about getting 1 or 2 Es but I'm not sure if my PP happy setup is ready for them. Temp holds 80-85 degrees, humidity holds 85... Is that warm enough? Will a lone E be comfy with 5 PPs? I've always wanted some.

Looking good for your first setup. Take your time, but 75% humidity is ok, but a little low... It should probably be about 80% or higher. You should also have water bowls deep enough that your biggest can fully submerge in them. You can use needlepoint canvas or egg crate to build little ramps into ...

I remember when I put in a new deep water bowl and got really excited and then presumably the silicone killed 2. it was awful. I can't imagine how loosing 12 must be Stay optimistic! You're a great crabber and we are all here for you :grouphug:
