It's hard because my space is limited. I just took out a climbing stick because they don't like it, so now I have an empty space for one, but I cant find anything small enough. I don't really want to rearrange stuff because all of my crabs are buried at the moment, but I know they come up at night.

One of my previous crabs Starlite, was very sassy. I put the moss on the sand and she walked right over and covered the moss with sand

I didn't know you were supposed to do a moss pit until I saw other people talking about it. I just cant find anything to use as a moss pit.

It would be cool to fill it with sand so it would be more comfortable.

Would it be a good moss pit?

I think I have seen your posts about putting a theme with your 'tat. I think it is a super cute idea :) I know this is cheesy and lame, but obviously there is always the option of a beach theme :) I think whatever you choose should reflect what you like, since you have to look at it everyday :wink: ...

They seemed to like it, most of it was gone when I woke up. Finally!! Something they will eat!

Though I have provided nice hides like coco-huts, half logs, cork round, and clay pots - my crabs spend most of their day snoozing up high. For example, Rameriz in one of the shell shops just now. Hello, Congrats on moving to a bigger tank :) I think heating pads say how big of a tank it is supposed to heat. I think one on each side is good. You can adjust them depending on your thermometer readings. I think many people have part eco earth and part sand, I think sand is easier for hermit crab...
