HCA: Hermit Crab Association

My current hermit crab food I am using came from the Hermit Crab Patch. It came with a little sample of "worm castings." Has anyone used this or knows is it is safe? It says it is 100% worm castings.

I've never been to a Petsmart that didn't use a plastic fish bowl for a moss pit. I wanted to do that but I cant find a plastic fish bowl, only glass.

Leave them be. :) I know it's hard! But small crabs do this thing where they sneak up in the middle of the night for a few days to reload on food and water, and then bury again for weeks on end. Big bill is a small crab, and little bill is a teeny I believe.

Right after I posted this they buried about an inch and a half away from each other, they will probably be up tomorrow morning, I'll keep an eye on them.

I haven't read your emergency post, but I hope all goes well. I have had hermit crabs for about 4 months and I am still constantly worried.
