Re: Catappa leaves

[quote="wodesorel"]Every species of tree is going to have different nutrition and tannins and flavor, just like how tree nuts vary so much. The crabs always enjoy variety. :) Indian Almond leaves are popular with betta breeders as they encourage spawning, and with terrarium owners My Aussies avoid t...

Re: Tank update

I got my plastic mesh in spotlight. Australia It’s with the embroidery canvas. Gutter guard from Bunnings works as well but is a bit more rustic looking. [emoji12]

Re: Aussie Breeding Success Dec 2016/Jan2017

Just discovered I have 5 babies at least. Saw 3 tonight in striped shells. One I haven’t seen for ages. Plus they were all put at once so I’m certain there are at least 3 striped 1 Babylonian and 1 big shell. Yaay that’s great to know.

Nope no babies for sale. I doubt you will actually find any world wide either as they are so rare at the moment. All people who have managed to breed value their babies and don't want to part with them. That's how Natalie and I feel anyway. We are the two who have done it with Aussie crabs.

A friend gave me a moth casing. Seems it was popular. I have video but all the video I post vanishes so not going to bother.

Pigging our on the food side of things too. Filling hollow legs like a teenager or packing in the food like a toddler for a growth spurt. Not quite sure.

Number One has absolutely done a moult. Look how well it’s filling that huge shell now. Also note hairy legs and sharp black toes.

Re: Uh oh..crab on the loose

Nope won't help drawing moisture from the sub. BUT the amount it draws really doesn't matter because as the wood dries out the moisture goes back into the air anyway and adds to humidity again
