I give mine eggshells once a week as an additional calcium source and I always make sure to get the leftovers out no later than fourty eight hours so that the crabs have time to consume the majority then I come in behind them with a sifter and clean up making sure to check their larders and stashes.

I think C.A. made mention of clay pots being a good place for bateria to grow because the material can develope scrathces and such.I would think if the clay pot was bought brand new and never used for anything else it would be okay but I would wait for someone who has used this type of pot to eleabo...

I went and checked the site out and found it to be well put together and easy to navigate and her articles are very acurate so all in all I am very pleased with it.I have not ordered anything from her because of being un-employed but I am looking forward to doing so in the future...

I have always heard that hermitcrabs are like moths and are extremly sensitive to the resins and phenols that coniferous trees have which is why I have allways shyed away from anything from a coniferous tree in my crabitat.
