Everything but the tank, the UltraTherms and the crabs came from a thrift store.

About the use of cotton yarn...

Cotton rots, fast, when damp. The high humidity of our tanks perfect for speed rotting.

Crabs can be picky. I would just put them In rotation and offer them once a week or two. Personally, my crabs won't even go near a food dish with blood worms in it. I put a waterfall in my tank recently and took it out in less than a week. I was constantly in front of the tank checking to make sure that it wasn't flooding. Plus, the water got gross, quick.

I made porkchops for dinner last night as well. I put a small piece in with the crabs, they loved it

I have fed them porkchops many times in the past and never saw any issues
