Re: I'm Mandi & here they are

Hey, at the very least it's better than the conditions at the pet store. Not only that, but in the future you're setting them up properly. I hope you have no trouble finding what you need and good luck! P.s. How are your daughters liking them so far? Are you learning about them together? Well my ol...

I went to Pat Catans today, it's a craft store, and bought a huge bag of shells, which I was able to use 12 of, a little flower pot for moss and this bag of moss... it's real,.but is it safe? http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161014/6b148439868fc3e88ae1a4f224d9c93e.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.co...

Re: Extra shells

The sub is moist enough if you stick a chop stick (or the like)down the side of the tank & the hole remains intact all the way down. :) An sometimes crabs go down & come up again with out molting. Iz normal! I don't own chopsticks so I used a pencil, will that work too? Sent from my C5215 using Tap...

Re: I got it fixed

Just keep adding as you can- it's looking good so far. :) Thank you. I saw the little baby's under side and looks like she is a girl. Can't tell yet with Gary or Yeti so I call them boys. Here is Yeti checking out some new shells http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161014/c719470e17aadf4c83540a01cce8...

Re: First molter, need info

How do I know it is moist enough? Gary came back up about two hours later. Did that mean it wasn't moist enough? The top of the sub is dry already this morning. I don't have a humidity thermometer yet or anything to keep the moisture up other than my spraying the sand with a spray bottle Sent from m...

Re: Extra shells

Crabs think the downward facing shells are occupied so they skip them. My first hermit, Gary, well try to inspect the other guy's shell. Is that normal? "Judge a man not by his answers, but by his questions" That is not a good sign. That means that Gary is interested in his friend's shells. This ca...

Re: First molter, need info

Thank you, I just put substrate in tonight, not even 5 minutes after Gary was digging down. He is inside the hut, but dug under inside. He's completely under, should I move the hut, so the other two can still go inside?

Re: Out and About

He is a PP and they definitely move the shells. I usually have one or two on the sub each morning. Most of my shells are only one-high, anyways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have two PPs one is tan and the other almost black the red is so dark. But they both have purple big claws so I assum...

Re: Help! PPS or something else???

With the shells in the holder on the left, can the crabs get them all when they are set up like that? I thought the shells needed to be spread out with the opening face up. I'm new to this
