Re: Ride Home
You should definitely read up on their care here. They need a lot more than you see in the pet store holding tanks. -80° heat 80% humidity -Hides to sneak off to -2 pools of water deep enough to submerge fully in, but be able to climb in and out effectively. 1 is a dechlorinated fresh water and the ...

LEGO treehouse
So for a couple months i have been slowly turning this lil lego house my son made into a treehouse, which inevitably ended up with me pretty much deconstructing the whole thing to disinfect and clean. Ive lost the staircase and the roof and covered the entire thing, top to bottom in aquarium silicon...

Re: Struggling to keep crab warm!
Ok, so, Im a little confused. Whats with the a.c? As in air conditioner? Is it still in your window? Why do u need a new one right now? I really dont understand that part. Lol. Yes the zoomed heaters are pretty much junk in my opinion and experience. Most of us use ultratherm heaters, you can find t...

Re: Moss
I had a really tough time with heat and humidity for awhile until i realized it was because my sub was lower than the heater height in the back. So there was a lot of exposed glass with no heat and it caused both to get out of whack. Once i figured that out, its been smooth sailing and i no longer n...

Re: Crab never comes above ground - but very alive?
You could always check craigslist or even facebook local places like market place or want ads for crabs that need to be rehomed. As far as the age of crabs, size isnt exactly a guide to tell the ages of these guys, but i would say a small crab being 10-15 yrs old is pretty unlikely but im no expert....

And after all that, lol, dude came up to party soon as i put out the lights lol. I just had to wait lol good luck Sent from my SM-G95...

Chirping
So i know chirping is pretty normal. But its the first time I've heard it and it weirded me out a bit. I got 3 smalls in a 36 bow. Its been pretty quiet in there, had one down molting and the other 2 recovering from a very "busy" halloween party i accidentally had last month. (Oops) anyways, i heard...

Re: Green Mold?
It's algae! It's harmless. It needs light, oxygen and moisture to grow, so it can be a sign of a healthy tank. It must be from that salt lamp then. It is only on the front of the tank.
