Re: Water storage confusion!
Love this question because I also wonder! I’ve even checked both jugs of water for ammonia as well and both have always tested fine even after a few weeks.

Re: Should I Dip My Crabs in Water?
Let them go in and adjust their shell water as they choose. Sent from my LGMS550 using Tapatalk Thanks. In the back of my mind, I knew this was the correct response, but I just needed someone to reassure me and subside my anxiousness. Trust me....it was also a concern of mine too! I tend to overthi...

Re: New tank & need some help with heating
I have mine insulated with cardboard and aluminum foil. I first wrapped the cardboard in the foil...shiny side facing out then taped it over the UTH...I’m sure others will pop in with other ideas like using styrofoam as well...I didn’t have any on hand at the time so I used the cardboard.

This is Little Chicky. All grown up and 10 shades darker. Almost overnight. They grow so fast. She doesn't look like herself at all! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181106/b3de62447c01ac8f6a274d14ebc809d2.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181106/4a7605027d271f37778acf856468e14f.jpg Sent fro...

Re: Crab has lost two legs
The humidity and tempature is a big deal, but what I think might have gone on is that the bigger crab got in a fight with the small one. When you go to pick out new crabs it's important to get crabs that are fairly the same size as each other. Otherwise, when one crab wants to fight, if the other o...

Re: Crabs Not Moving?
More than likely they are both just chilling out and destressing....mine all did the same when we first got them as well. I worried as well....in no way should you move them back to the critter keeper though! Just let them be and get used to their new environment. I found you could fill out this tem...

Re: Substrate is too wet?
Got it about the tunnels. I was only planning to do this when Bluey was at the surface. I am a squeamish person in general about icky things. But holding Bluey does not bother me. Of course I have never been pinched yet. That might change things. It’s funny you mentioned the pinching thing...I’ve n...
