I’ve lost count at how many shells I have in the tank at any given time lol....today my one crab literally tried out 5 different shells only to end up back in the original one he chose a week ago haha!

You also need to get him back in a shell ASAP...

Insulating will help tremendously!

To get some humidity going you can first Saran Wrap the lid and then lightly mist inside the tank. I believe someone on here also said you can wet a washcloth, wring it out and put that inside with them. We started out the same as you, with just a critter cage they came in.

I’m still unsure of which crab it is...my biggest one who did a quick molt or one that was down a long time, molted and got bigger with a different shell haha...regardless he/she is a busy little thing making messes, eating and hanging out!
