HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I just checked on her, and what I can see is that her colors look really vibrant and her purple claw is a very beautiful color right now

Shes been down for maybe a few weeks now, and I think shes between a smallish mediumish crab... While expert Crabbers are here, ive read that you can give egg shells to the crabs for calcium. And if that is true, must the eggs be boiled to give them the shell to eat, and does that little thin membrane have to be removed? Or can I just crack open a raw egg and give them the shell that way?
