Re: I've been told I should post my crabs here!
Wow! So impressive, everythings so beautiful, crabs included! You must have a lot of experience in building tanks, no? Do you have any more pics of deeper in the tank, or close ups of what all you've put into it? I love that the 2 unidentified crabs are in shells that match them, how'd you make that...

Re: Crush force!
Looks like they used a bite force thing. There has GOT to be a relatively simple way we can measure this. Maybe if we get some sticks or something that we know the tensile strength of, and we see what pieces they can snap, that might work? I'm also wondering if we could rig something mechanical tha...

Re: Tank Size
I had a 30 gallon on that same stand for a few months and I can't recommend it in good conscience. It's not listed to hold the weight of the tank with 6in or more sand in it but also my tank had a leak in it I didn't know about, until I upgraded to a new tank and stand and saw the back and bottom wa...

Re: Climbing material help!
Ah, I was not aware that there are metal/screen type fly swatters! I've only seen plastic where I live! Apparently, there are metal swatters as well! My bad! Therefore, I cannot say if a metal swatter is good or bad for a crabitat, other than to watch for rust. Even so, I wouldn't boil it. Anything...

Sounds good! I have a lot right now, but I can't help but want to get more-- It's like an addiction! I forgot I have to save some money to buy something for one of my family members' birthday, but I'm sure I'll order again soon regardless! And maybe there will be even more things to choose from the...
