I get dried sea salt where my uth is. But it's not that thick, I'm able to scrape it off with a chopstick. Is this the first time you've noticed it?

Will do. How are the nets and cubes working out? Hopefully your crabs are using everything! They are even more popular than I ever thought possible. The first day I put the cubes in, the popcorn was gone before 9pm! Weeks later and they still empty it every night :o Of course the nets are wonderful...

Yeah any area that's not seasoned is safe, cooked or raw. And yes raw eggshell is safe as well, I think the crabs even like it more because it has raw egg on it too lol You can keep the shells for as long as you want. Crabs are scavengers so rotten food items won't hurt them.....just stink up your h...
