I’m not experienced but this sounds normal to me. He’s looking for the right fit. And I think smaller crabs molt more often and for shorter durations than larger crabs. But I wouldn’t be worried about 2 weeks. I think smallish crabs molt about once every 2-3 months or maybe once a month if they’re t...

Crabby has resurfaced but Mr Crabs is still sluggish after assumed first molt with us.

Crabby is back up after his longest hiatus yet. Seems like it’s been 1 month. This is his 3rd assumed molt with us. So that’s 2-3 molts in 9 months. Crabby is our original crab and the reason for this addiction/monstrosity. We acquired Crabby in October from Gulf shores, Alabama. I wasn’t interested...

I use the api master freshwater kit for both. There’s YouTube videos showing the difference and why you only need to buy one. All you need is the chart for the saltwater if you buy the freshwater. Hope it’s ok I keep posting updates on this. Mr Crabs is still trying his best. He’s kept a shell too small on for two days now. I have not seen him change shells the past two days.
