What are you using for substrate?

Sorry didn't even see this! I'm using eco earth on half tank and other calcium sand which came with tank.

But I've been searching and see playsand mix with eco 5:1 is best? That's not to much sand? I figured it would pack to much when wet. But if good I will do this instead

Yea I've decided to do the containers instead. Don't wanna kill my babies. But am looking into something that looks a little better than a couple Tupperware containers in my tank.
Have seen some tubs that look as they were made out of rock about size of Tupperware just not sure where I can find these

I made some similar to what you are talking about with rocks on them. I just used aquarium silicone to secure the stones onto containers.
