Molting with 3 crabs

I have 3 crabs in a ten gallon tank. There is 6in of substrate. Do i need to isolate them when they molt or is it ok to leave them in the tank with the others?
15 year old that loves pets. My mom wont let me get a fourth crab tho cuz apparently her house would be a zoo and Rock, Pebbles, and Boulder are enough.

Crabs do not need to be isolated to molt, as long as they have enough space. When a tank is crowded, or if there isn't enough substrate, they can come across each other when digging. Three crabs in a ten gallon is okay as long as they are small, but they will quickly outgrow the space and become too crowded.
