Can hermit crabs eat tarantula molts?
I would assume so, but I guess my question moreso is, has anyone given their crabs a tarantula molt?

Well, it’s primarily chiton, so spider exoskeletons in general should be safe.
However, I’m not sure how much I’d trust having urticating hairs on their food.
Edit: chiton, not keratin

I'm with Joe on this. It should be okay in theory, but those defensive hairs are made to cause damage to anything that could be a bother. I wouldn't offer it to mine without more evidence it's safe, hermit abdomens are soft!
