What kind of shells are these?

This is where you discuss shells for your hermit crabs. Not for selling/swapping shells, use Classified Ads for that.

What kind of shells are these?

Post by platypuskid2 » Fri Nov 24, 2017 10:37 am

Image Lambda has been in this one for quite a while Image Mu had the other small one before he moved out and Epsilon moved in. I only have two of these shells and they are constantly occupied, my pps love them. I'd like to know what they are called so I can get more and share my findings with everyone else for a very different looking preferred shell

So, I'm still pretty 'meh' at shell ID's, but I'd lean towards a tulip shell (Fasciolaria species), or alternatively a triton type.

Sorry - that's the best I got. :?
