coconut butter

Post by sarahlovescrabs » Thu Nov 07, 2019 9:53 am

i was wondering if coconut butter is ok for my crabs because its pretty hard to get quality, organic coconut were i live.
coco butter is 100% coconut, but it is processed, (cold presses) on the container it says that it is unrefined (whatever that means)
another thing is that it melts very easy so it could be messy. :?
why do today what we can do tomorrow?

Do you mean coconut oil? Or COCOA butter? Those are two different things. . . but I haven't heard of coconut butter?

I know what you’re talking about, I use it to cook once in a while.

Yes, it is safe for hermit crabs. It’s just the fatty oils from the coconut.
