Sand Dollar Bits

Are Sand Dollars in any way useful nutrition wise for the crabs? I have some and I'm unsure if it's safe to use.

If they’re the white ones they are bleached so it wouldn’t be good for them but if you found one naturally on the beach, I think they’re ok. I could be wrong, someone else had a similar post and I can’t remember exactly.

They would provide calcium, and you can use them as long as they are not treated with bleach or whitening chemicals.

Agree with what has been mentioned above. Safe ones are typically gray. :)
