We put out a base of bird seed and crab diet from the jar, along with an assortment of fresh options that change daily. Today we're having carrots and masago (smelt roe). Normally the smallest crabs in our tank will hide whenever I hang out too long, but the masago's too tasty to leave so I caught a rare pic of them.

Today they got a blue berry, cherries, red plum, attempted-dehydrated-zuchinni/red-pepper mix, and toasted walnuts, shrimp, barley, and birdseed mix.

They WERE going to get chicken, but I zoned out making food, and threw everything into the pan. Kicked myself after.

I would recommend that your veggies, rice, seeds and fruits be organic. Also - lettuce has no nutritional value to it. You would be best to switch that with a better green. Bread isn't good for hermits.
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com

Tonight the crabs are dining on crushed peanuts for protein of course, oats, black chia seeds, dried river shrimps and meal worms. In the dessert dish I have crushed apple, diced cranberries with a little calcium powder, spirulina, and powdered coconut. Hopefully they love it!

Both of my crabs are finally up from molting as of a week or so ago. Been trying to get in loads of nutrients for them, they're getting so big!

Tonight they have coconut oil, calendula flowers, oats, dried mealworms, some THCP mixes, almonds, cuttlebone, and eggshell. :)

I fed my crabs green sand for the first time tonight. What a hit! I put it in a shell and crabs were fighting over it in both tanks.
