Laney wrote:I looove the way your tank is designed. Where did you get all your decorations and what not? Also do you have rocks as second stories too? Looking at the video it looks like you have rocks at a higher level where all your extra shells are.
Thanks. :) My decor came from various sites online like petdiscounters, reptile supply, etc. I also got stuff from craft stores and the grocery store. The "rocks" are actually made of foam. They are called "magnaturals". They are unbelievably expensive  but they are amazing as long as your tank glass is less than or equal to 1/4 of an inch thick. :D

PinkParrot wrote: Thanks for pointing that out. The "second level" was removed from our tank a few weeks ago because I was afraid it would collapse or something. It looked cute when I first made it but it wasn't safe enough for my taste. And now that you mention about the laminator on the popsicle sticks, I'm glad I got rid of it. I will start working one something new soon, I feel like I took their favorite toy away from them.

People, keep posting pictures of your tanks, they all look awesome and it's great to get DIY ideas.
Yes please do but dont worry about taking away their play things they wouldn't worry about it i dont think

natch1- cool tank! Is the smaller tank siliconed to the larger tank to keep it from moving? Did you have to make a custom lid for the larger tank?

How did I not notice this thread yet? There are so many great crabitats here! I like how a lot of us have such different decorating preferences.

My crabitat is a WIP, and I will admit that I am a tad embarrassed to even share photos at the moment. I hope to have everything sorted out before the beginning of the year.

My 5.5 gallon, before I took the sponges out and rearranged the water dishes and that piece of driftwood slightly, dampened the substrate, and added more ivy:
