ID confirmation

Post by KrankyKrab » Sat Sep 21, 2019 10:27 am

So an adoption landed on my lap..... they both seem very active and STARVING. After looking at various pics, I feel they are BOTH PP despite the claw shades not being pronounced. The lighter one I’m guessing had a recent molt? Seems more transparent looking. Am I right??

They look like PP to me. Your lighter one reminds me of my Dave, he’s about that shade as well, even freshly molted. Congrats on the adoptees!

The dark one definitely looks like my PP's. I have no experience with any other species. But if the light one is a PP - wow, he's so pale! OM, is your Dave always that color? Would some color-enhancing foods help darken them up? Cher has often been lighter than Sonny (last time I saw her she was closer to his dark color), but never that pale! LOL!

Yes I can’t place the pale one either- I assumed it was a fresh molt? Never saw one yet....

It can be a recent molt, but it can also be from a very bad diet.
