Crab chasing crab! - Video

Post by crabolover » Mon Jan 20, 2020 1:48 am

Hello people. Captured some interesting behaviour on camera.

Pearl - Male recently surfaced from a successful molt one day ago. He was coming out for what seemed to be a food trip to get some fresh peanut butter and organic coconut chips. However, with the lights off and without anybody there he jolted backward and Coconut - male (tiny one) started chasing him.

The tank does face a window and perhaps some car lights spooked him but the "run for the hills" chase was hilarious

Does anybody know what is going on?

I love the video! Image
Maybe this is like when one dog starts barking at nothing, and then the other dog starts barking too just because the first one is. If car lights spooked Pearl, maybe Coconut thought it was best to just follow the leader and run and hide too. Image

That was too cute! Liked the video on YouTube for ya 😁 I don’t know what happened but it’s quite obvious something spooked the big one for sure!
