itty bitty town called laharpe we have a casey's, 1 grocery store, bout 4 churches, 1 post office, 1 library, 1 choke and puke eating place, a lawyer, a city hall, tax acct. 3 self owned car fix it shops, self owned computer sales and a dr clinic office and a dollar general all on main street! yep we are the "BLINK" and you missed it towns!

i'm from morganton, north carolina, in the appalachian mountains (and am still an NC resident, technically speaking)....but i have lived for the past year in DC. luckily i can cast a vote for the same two places at once in this poll!

maryland is geographically the south....anything in the east that is south of the mason-dixon line is technically in the south, if you talk about geography. however, i don't think many people would say that maryland is culturally southern, i certainly wouldn't...especially as they didn't go confederate in the civil war. some people don't think VA or NC are southern, actually.

I have left 3 times in my life, and always come back to my hometown! I have been home for 12 tears now and dont ever plan on leaving again <3
