LEGO treehouse

Post by elly_bananas » Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:33 pm

So for a couple months i have been slowly turning this lil lego house my son made into a treehouse, which inevitably ended up with me pretty much deconstructing the whole thing to disinfect and clean. Ive lost the staircase and the roof and covered the entire thing, top to bottom in aquarium silicone.

Tried to give them the most natural hide i could make, creating some shade and some darkness with the leaves and vines, and can now fit AND hide all 3 of my critters at once if they like. Idk, its my first major diy in there, i really have no idea what im doing lol. ImageImageImageImage

Make sure the wood and leaves you use haven't been treated or exposed to any chemicals or sprays. In my area, they spray insecticide and whatnot, so we go where we know the area is safe for collecting wood, bark and leaves. Watch for bugs that may be living in the wood too!

That's cool! It reminds me of the forts you would see in the old western movies. You know the ones, where there are 6 cowboys in the fort and they need to hold off 1000 Indians until help arrives!
