Great news!

(I've been sleeping during the day again because of headaches, so I'm awake from sundown to sunup. Always had a bit of vampire in me! )

That is so great to hear!!!

I just gave here her last dose of meds today, but I'm still hear popping and wheezing noises. She also started gapping yesterday. She does seem more active than before and seems to act like nothing is wrong but the RI is still there, is this normal?

I'd give the vet a call. The duration of meds may not have been long enough, and/or strong enough. Especially if she's still gaping.

No, definitely not normal. Some antibiotics can work for longer than taken, but she should have been sounding better by now.

She is certainly acting better just not sounding better. I'll give the vet a call I just don't know if I'll be able to afford another round of meds. The vet I'm using is in a fairly high income area so everything is real expansive. I think I might try a home treatment, I found some on the web I just need to make sure they're legit. Also, are RIs contagious? I have a second garter snake tht I want to add in but I definitely don't want him catching it.

RIs can be extremely contagious, she needs to be quarantined from the others for safety. Also, please don't try random cures found online, this is a bacterial infection and it requires antibiotics for treatment - especially since it sounds like it may be medication resistant. Having a proper environment is half the equation though!

Owning and caring for reptiles is expensive, no matter where you live. They are not cheap pets, and vet care for exotic animals (ie, not commonly owned pets) does cost more.

I'm trying to do my research on what treatments are okay. I'm still going to talk to the vet first but she seems better today, hopefully she will get better on her own though I'm not counting on it. I'll give her another day or two before I take her in for more meds.

I'm with Wodes, the only thing going to help (if she doesn't get better from this round of meds) is more/different antibiotics. It's the same with people and bacterial infections. There's a lot we can do to boost our immune system, but only the antibiotics are gonna kill the bacterial infections.

Update: The vet approved of another treatment, this time it was a one time thing and she's on the road to recovery! The infection has cleared up now all she has to do is regain her strength. I cleaned out all her hides and bedding then added the second snake. He seemed to cheer her up a little and the're getting along great!
