Byzantine royalty

Post by LadyJinglyJones » Wed May 09, 2018 11:11 pm

I don't have any cobalt crabs to show off, but I did want to post the purple-y-est of my recenter moults.

(My camera isn't great though, and it's not doing either justice. This is why I don't post many pictures.)

Probably Chandra or Jace, but I can't be sure at all.

Image

And I think this is possibly Luis, one of my first two, but I'll never be certain. She's reddening up in the legs already, but was initially much more purple.

And here is a pic from I think around crissmuss... not pictured is the other coconut hut, a mere eight inches away, which is completely crab-less. :|

Edit- oh, and a bonus crustacean from a trip to the aquarium! My hand for scale - no funky perspective at work. Pay attention, isopod fans:

"Gaze upon the rolling deep..."
Quince the fat tailed gecko; Amazonian minnows; and now Harry & Luis, Bede & Aster, Chandra & Jace, Pax, & Piccolo, my adopted PPs.
RIP Vegita :(

Gorgeous crabs!!! Love that purple.

Those giant isopods have always given me the willies. I have no idea why!

Gorgeous crabs! May I ask where you got the hanging cocohut? I see you're also in Canada, and I'm having a beast of a time finding one big enough for my little dudes (not for want of trying)..

Bye Fred. You lasted almost 4 years with me. Hope you're with my E now! See you soon Reeba as well. I can't believe I lost you only after a month.
