Grandma and Grandpa Crabs
We bought my daughter hermit crabs in 5th grade. She’s now in grad school. She knows I won’t give them up so I’m sure one day she’ll start her own crab colony lol. We have 10 Purple Pinchers. We started out with 18 in a 75gal tank 12 years ago. We don’t handle them but I love watching them. They’ve only had dry crab kibble once and it was so we could starve the fruit flies that found their way into their habitat.

so cool that you have had them for so long! something for me to aspire to

Doth, it was lots of trial and error. We finally found what works for ours, but I wish for the other 8 that we would’ve figured it out sooner.

You need to use the Tapatalk app.

Or you can also use image sharing sites such as imBB, tiny pic or flickr. But tapatalk is often far easier, since we often use our smartphones for the crabby snaps!curlysister wrote:You need to use the Tapatalk app.

Thanks! They really are cute and though we don’t handle them much, they aren’t afraid. I let my daughter know she’ll have to start a new colony because I won’t give them up haha!
