Okay, so my large hermit crab has been showing signs of possibly getting ready to molt. His exo is turning pale in some places, he seems more irritable, he is out almost all of the time, and it seems like he's been more active in stocking up on food and water. I know that just because he hasn't burrowed yet, doesn't mean that he isn't going to, but I'm a little nervous. I haven't dealt with a surface molt before. If he does start molting on the surface... should I move him into ISO, or should I let him be. I know you aren't supposed to bother a molting crab, and I don't want to cause him any unnecessary stress.
Thanks! |

In all likelihood he won't surface molt, but if he does, just punch several holes in a large jug or bottle and place it around him so no one bothers him or his exo. Good Luck! _________________ 4 PP's:Harry~Ron~Cho~Origami
