Shells at JoAnn

Post by Marshmelo76 » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:34 am

I just got a decent size bag of shells at Jo-Ann today for $2. They have several 50% off printable coupons on their website and this bag was regularly $3.99. They also had a HUGE bag for $14.99 I think. I was able to use 8 shells from the bag I got for $2.

I got my shells from a 99 cents store. My crab Fawkes changed into one, then another, then another! I got them for a $1.19.Note: Even if there's only ONE decent shell in a bag of 30, buy it! You can use the rest for the tank, or to decorate the bathroom (you should see ours!)

If you live near a World Market they sell a big bag for $20. I went in there and switched the shells out of the bags and took the ones I could use. XD I don't think you can do that, but they are still getting their money worth. It's not like I'm steeling.

Thanks, Keg! Great read. I perused most of her website before I bought my first crabs but either didn't read that part or don't remember it. The turbo does seem to be the shell of choice for my PP's. I guess it's that mother-of-pearl interior!
