Salt water question

Post by Kelly4779 » Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:17 pm

So I just purchased instant ocean Marine salt to replace the Aquarium salt we were using.
Do we just mix as per the instructions on the bag? How much salt to water do you use?
Our current salt water bath is too small. What size should the bath container be and how much water should be in it.
Thanks

What I do is dechlorinate a gallon of water then add the salt. Actually, you have to put in the salt first, otherwise it will overflow. Lol. I learned that the hard way. Then you have water stored.

The instructions should be on the box, but if not they can be found here:

It is important to mix according to instructions, not any stronger or weaker.

The pools should be deep enough that your crabs can fully submerge. You need to be sure that they have a way to be able to climb in and out, though, like rocks or a ladder or plastic canvass.
