I don't know about exo terra. I thought it had bigger chunks in it, but it should work. I stopped using EE and moved to peat moss. It works about the same, but the particles are way smaller and it's dusty. Overall, it works the same. I mix 2:1 parts sand to peat moss. The crabs seem to like it. Sent...

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I had the same thing happen. She only made it past day two after molting. I was and am still upset. I know it's hard. We try our hardest and what ever we do seems to be of little to no help in the end.

You did it!!!!! You are the one of the first few to successfully raise zoea to the land stage!!!! You have captive bred hermit crabs!!!

You've really taken a different approach to this. This is really amazing. I do have to say for not being prepared you are doing one heck of a job. Not many would be able to pull this off!

Sounds like when she has the crabs she has no problem getting them out...maybe it is actually the suppliers fault for causing this mess.

The only person who received crabs from her so far had only Es in their order. They would have come from a different supplier than the species that are coming from Oceania. She actually said she's getting in Aussies?? Wow. That is.... going to be hard for everyone to resist. She certainly knows how...

The baby crabs are so tiny, it completely blows my mind away! I wonder what they will look like when their colors start to come in.
