I find mine molt in the first couple of days they are down then just rest the next couple of weeks, but mine are Aussies so maybe their habits are different to PPs

I would suggest leaving them alone, I think if they were going to hurt her they would have just gone down her hole instead of digging their own. They probably all just feel that it is the safest place to molt. Give Cinamon another week and if she still hasn't appeared I would carefully dig her up an...

I've been lucky enough to catch a couple of shell changes on video. When I can see someone poking around on the shell shelf and checking them out I put my iphone on the glass above them and leave it videoing so I don't miss it.

I've been worried about my crabs doing the same thing, so I'm glad to see others are having the same issue. I've only got Aussies (in Australia thats all we can have) and out of 11 crabs they are in 9 different shells. I have 2 in Murex Tenuispena and one in a drupe murex, 2 in green/jade turbos, then one in a bonnet, a nerite, a zeacumantus (Mud-creeper) and the rest I'm not sure because I haven't checke...

Maybe just spending some time recovering. One of mine (an Aussie) recently moulted and spent about 3 weeks just sleeping, on the surface but we put him in isolation. Now he is the most active crab in a tank of 11, I'm starting to wonder if he ever sleeps because he seems to play all day and all nigh...
