Someone suggested that the heat lamps may be too close to the substrate and it will dry it out. Currently I am using the red infrared type.
I am thinking to change it to the ceramic heat emitters.
What do you guys think?

Re: Panthera's 115G tank/coffee table
The deepest part is about 8 inch and near the pools it is about 6 I think.
I can't go deeper cause I don't want them to be too close to the heat lamp fixtures.
Can't increase the ceiling height too as it is already too tall for a coffee table!

Help with Microclimate EVO
Hello! Has anyone got any experience with a Microclimate EVO? I recently received mine and straight out of the box I plugged it on and the screen lit up but it is totally not responsive to my touch. I bought this online and before I return to them and have them send me a new one which is going to ta...

New tank with different sized hermies?
Hello all, I am starting up a new 115G or 430L tank.
Just wondering do I have to get all the hermies at the same size or is it okay to get mostly small ones and a couple of medium or larger ones?
Will I have any problems with bullying or serious fighting?

Re: Adopters outside of the United States and Canada
AUSTRALIA
In Melbourne area, just starting up my 115 G tank.
Don't feel like supporting those pet shops with less than ideal hermit crab conditions, so would like to adopt instead.
Please email me if anyone has any crabs that need a good home.
