Re: New enclosure

Re: New enclosure
A friend called me and has a poor small hermie they want me to adopt, which i will gladly do. I look forward to nursing it back to health. My only concern is there a risk to my established hermies? I don't have an extra tank to isolate it...

Re: The littlest baby made it!
I'm concerned about my micro. Have not seen him in 3 months. Hopefully he will come out soon Sent from mTalk Try not to worry. (Easier said than done - I know!) Micros can go into back to back molts. When you take that, with the fact that crabs are nocturnal- he/she is probably fine! Sent from my i...

Re: Reset
I like to change up my stick collection and arrangement every few weeks. They love to climb and munch on the oak leaves, raspberry canes, and one day maybe they'll like the blueberry branches I've acquired. But it's more of a second level thing when the molters are down. I have a ten gallon, which ...

Reset
I decided to reorganize my tanks levels and decorations. Within seconds my hermies were out climbing and checking it all out. So cool but I feel bad they were perhaps bored. I will change it up at least weekly now

Re: Rain?
Like a misty rain. Maybe that could work but what about the substrate. I imagine anything more than a mist could flood the sub. You said water can drain out the bottom. How big are the holes for drainage? If it rained and started draining the excess water off, wouldn't you lose some sub in the proc...

I tried an oyster shell found at the beach, and a cuttlebone. They love them!
