I dug up and relocated to an iso tank. If that one passes too I learned my lesson, but I was getting pretty worried. But to my suspicions I did have a dead hermie.

It's been 3 months and a move since two of my crabs came up. I'm going to slowly search and scrap away the eco earth. Is that smart?? I think I smell something. I'm really scared I have a dead crab.

Fogger can oversaturate the substrate and cause bacterial blooms, so at the very least they should not be used constantly. I recently got a fogger and I'm super excited about it.
And my crabs LOVE it. I think they are rarely in their shell now.

But my problem is the dry food that I put in their and leave I their gets so wet and gross.

I change it every night to two nights depending on what it is. Fresh foods tend to get changed sooner. Hermits are scavengers.so they tend to like things a bit "yuckier" than we would think, so there is no real set time, I just prefer to not attract bugs so I pull fresh foods sooner than later.
