I had a hermit crab(her name is chile) and lately she is buried all the time but she is not molting is it becuase she is cold or is she just doing this for fun. my other one is fine he is a male named bottles both are 4-5 years old when I got them. thanks

I have a small gumball size hermit crab who I think is getting ready to molt and probably going to change shells. I have a shell that that is twice as long , is very light, but the compartment where he would stay is the right size which it is a cone snail shell from petco, would it work? thanks

So mine if you don't pay attention at least 3 times per day they will get fussy and will be loud loud letting me know they are there and want attention is this what yours do too?

None have any injury 2/3 have had one safe molt and 2/3 are tanky.

I am feeding them coconut apple meal worms and just bought a mango yesterday.have not used mango yet. I use the bananas and mangoes on Sunday
which is what I call for a cute name of tropical Sunday .which when they hear that word they all watch out their tank as I fix there meal for them.

If I turn off the lamp during feeding will that help also. because I have the heat on during feeding.

will frozen work too? I mean that would keep them occupied because that could be an option.

Hello I am a new crab owner. I have had 3 for about 3 months and bought them some bananas but they went brown before they could eat it and they don't like it brown. can someone help me fix that? thanks
