I saw some neat, twisty branches at a local pet store and they had a tag that said Exo Terra Forest Branch. Anyone use these? Is the wood safe? Does it hold up in the humidity?

I kinda figured there’s no one size fits all answer for certain crab behaviors, but figured I’d check to be sure!

I’ve really enjoyed watching them, especially when they change shells.

I can go ahead and answer the why not to overlap the substrate. You risk a big thermal differential across the glass. The thermal differential can lead to cracking. It's not a guaranteed issue, but it's the main risk I could see. Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk That makes sense, thank you
